  • Member of the steering committee of CREAThE – The European working group for assisted reproduction in HIV discordant couples and HIV positive patients.
  • Principal National  Investigator – BLISS – international phase 2 clinical research in anti SLE new monoclonal abtibody. 2000 on – professional and academic advisor to the Clinton Foundation – HIV programs in developing countries
  • 2008- Representing Israel to the UN – key note lecture to the special symposium on HIV/AIDS in developing countries
  • 2010 - Representing Israel to the G8 in Otawa – key note lecture to the special symposium on HIV/AIDS in women
  • 2008-2011 on, - special missions to construct infrastructure of HIV Medicine in Vietnam, Uganda, Ethiopia, Ukrain, Moldova – for the Global fund, The Clinton Foundation and the state of Israel.

Research Interests:

  • Autoimmunity, Autoimmune diseases, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Lupus nephritis, pregnancy and autoimmune diseases, Antiphospholipid Syndrome, natural autoantibodies and serum inhibitors
  • HIV , fertility and HIV,  HIV genotyping and resistance, HIV education – postgraduate schools, high schools, advisor in education and HIV prevention.
  • Courses in HIV counseling, treatment, prevention, post exposure prophylaxis for health workers from developing countries. Hepatitis C-HIV coinfection.
  • Originating, organizing and leading the tri-annular course “exposure to the medical profession” – first to third year of medical school
  • Member of the Medical Education Committee, The faculty of medicine
